<br /> <p>A vegetation fire that ignited</a> late Thursday evening, July 12, near Chico, California, quickly grew to 700 acres</a> on Friday afternoon, July 13.</p><p>The fire, dubbed the Stoney Fire, was burning in Upper Bidwell Park near Highway 32, according to reports from KRON 4</a>.</p><p>On late Friday afternoon, July 13, the fire was 40 percent contained, the Cal Fire Butte County unit said</a>, citing</a> a “significant augmentation of resources”.</p><p>The fire had prompted</a> evacuation orders for residents between Shadybrook Lane and Canyon Oaks Terrace and closed</a> Highway 32, but by late Friday morning, the evacuation orders were lifted and the highway was reopened.</p><p>The video, shared on July 13, shows a skycrane helicopter deployed to assist firefighting.
