Tensions ran high at a London rally by supporters of US President Donald Trump and jailed far-right leader Tommy Robinson, held on Saturday (July 14). <br /><br />"Free Tommy Robinson" supporters and pro-Donald Trump marchers came together in Whitehall for a joint rally in support of the visit of the US President.<br /><br />They called for the release of English Defence League founder Robinson, who was jailed for 13 months for breaking contempt of court laws.<br /><br />A US diplomat reportedly complained to the UK's ambassador in Washington, DC, about the jailing of Robinson.
