<p>Aerial footage taken on Sunday, July 15, shows submerged roads in Clevedon, outside Auckland, following a weekend of wild weather on New Zealand’s North Island.</p><p>Traffic backup was reported around Auckland as floodwaters spilled onto Waikato Expressway. The flooding reportedly worsened on Sunday evening due to a high tide.</p><p>The Wairoa River in the agricultural region of Clevedon rose around 3.9 metres, prompting farmers to move their stock to higher ground, TVNZ reported</a>.
