If you are watching us in Korea,... you'll be well aware that it's hot, hot, hot <br />We are currently baking under the hottest temperatures so far this summer.<br />Nearly the entire country is under heatwave alerts or warnings, …with the mercury set to hit a scorching 34 degrees Celsius in Seoul later this afternoon.<br />The capital is under its first heat wave warning of the year.<br />The southeastern city of Daegu will be the hottest again,…with temperatures forecast to hit a sizzling 37 degrees.<br />Daejeon and Gwangju will see the mercury topping 35 degrees.<br />Amid the blistering heat, the number of patients with heat-related illnesses like heatstroke and dehydration is on the rise.<br />The ultra-hot weather is expected to continue throughout the week, so those heading outdoors are advised to take the necessary precautions to stay as cool possible. <br />
