<p>US President Donald Trump met</a> with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki on July 16, prompting protests in the city.</p><p>Police said</a> 20 protesters were arrested for causing a disturbance.</p><p>The summit between the two world leaders was to begin</a> with a one-on-one meeting followed by talks attended by Russian and US delegates.</p><p>Speaking on the eve of the meeting Donald Trump said</a> the relationship between the US and Russia had “never been worse thanks to many years of US foolishness and stupidity” as well as a “rigged witch hunt.”</p><p>This footage shows protesters carry large signs and banners that read “Helsinki Against Trump And Putin” and “Make Love Not War.” An LGBT flag is seen among the crowd.
