South Korea celebrates the 70th anniversary of its constitution on Tuesday.<br />Senior officials including Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon attended a ceremony marking the occasion at the National Assembly earlier this morning.<br /> The newly elected National Assembly speaker Moon Hee-sang... gave a speech on the day's significance and the need to amend the constitution... so that it reflects the demands of the people.<br />Moon said he'll do his best to bring the National Assembly together to come to an agreement on the amending the constitution before the year's end.<br />He cited the current power structure which places various responsibilities on the president... as the main reason for the on-going political stalemate. <br />
