Actress Ellie Suriati Omar has called the Pakatan Harapan led federal government a dictatorship.<br /><br />She based her assessment on supposed deteriorating race relations following Pakatan Harapan's election victory.<br /><br />With the boom of cannons from the Parliament building audible in the background, Ellie joined Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam and 100 supporters who gathered at a food court near Bukit Aman, about 2km away from the Parliament building.<br /><br />Lokman said they only wanted to show their "solidarity" and give the Agong "moral support" in the wake of alleged attacks against the monarchy.<br /><br />Ellie was previously in the spotlight when she was spotted among dozens of former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak's supporters who were chanting "Melayu" repeatedly when attorney-general Tommy Thomas was about to start his press conference at Kuala Lumpur's Jalan Duta court complex.
