<p>A fast-moving grass fire in Central Point, Oregon, damaged properties, caused evacuations and road closures</a> on Tuesday, July 17.</p><p>The evacuations were conducted at several homes, an assisted living facility and businesses in Central Point, near Medford, reports said</a>.</p><p>Customers also reportedly evacuated</a> the Costco store between Central Point and Medford.</p><p>The Medford Police Department said</a> no people or animals were injured in the fire, but there was “plenty of property damage.”</p><p>The wildfire, which started near the Jackson County Expo and the Rogue Valley Family Fun Center along the Bear Creek Greenway, burned 50 acres of land at around 5 pm, said</a> the Oregon Department of Forestry Southwest Oregon District.
