Incredible drone footage shows how the ruins of a submerged village have become visible following the UK's extended heatwave. <br /><br />The video, captured on July 6 above Haweswater reservoir in Cumbria, shows how the remains of Mardale Green can be seen after the retreat of water during the hot spell.<br /><br />The village was submerged by the Manchester Corporation in 1937 to form the reservoir. <br /><br />Today, millions of homes in the north-east, including in Cumbria, face a hosepipe ban as the UK's longest heatwave since 1976 sees no end in sight.
