Timothy Scott was flying his drone when he encountered a giant humpback whale on its back just off the shore of the town of Angourie, New South Wales. <br /><br />On closer inspection, the magnificent beast was dead.<br /><br />Drone footage captured on July 16 shows the incredible moment a great white shark tracks the whale carcass, hoping to get a bite. <br /><br />“The whale was drifting into the famous surfing reserve of Angourie before some local fisherman dragged it out to sea to stop it beaching,” writes Scott.
