The European Union is also set to impose heavy anti-dumping duties on Chinese electric bicycles to prevent the flooding of cheap imports. <br /> The European Commission says tariffs of between 21-point-eight percent and 83-point-six percent will be imposed on all e-bikes imported from China. <br />That includes those made by Taiwan's Giant,... the world's largest bicycle maker with manufacturing facilities in China and the Netherlands. <br />The commission explained that the number of Chinese e-bikes imported to Europe jumped three-fold from 2014 to 2017. <br />
