Chance the Rapper Buys Chicago-Based News Website Chance is now somewhat <br />of a media mogul by <br />purchasing news site, <br />'The Chicagoist.' Chance confirmed the purchase in one of his newly released songs on Thursday, "I Might Need Security." The Chicagoist is part of a cluster of websites owned by the Gothamist network, which each covered their own respective cities. The company was shut down in 2017 but returned after public radio station WNYC bought the former Gothamist sites. Chance the Rapper, via 'Vibe'
