Facebook and AMC Theatres Team Up for <br />Ticket Purchases Moviegoers can now purchase AMC movie tickets directly on Facebook. The service has been implemented at a <br />handful of AMC locations nationwide and <br />will become available at all locations soon. Facebook's new ticketing platform allows users to search for movies, locations and showtimes. Once a selection has been made, the user <br />can choose the AMC ticketing platform <br />and finish their transaction after being <br />redirected to the AMC Theatres page. AMC is the first movie theatre to work directly with Facebook in this way. There is currently an introductory promotion, <br />where the online ticketing fees are waived <br />for users purchasing at AMC through Facebook.
