South Korea's trade ministry has unveiled its blueprint for supporting the so-called "five new industries."<br />Included on the list are electric cars, Internet of Things... and next generation semiconductors.<br /> One of the goals is developing a super-rapid charger for EVs that gets the job done three times faster than existing ones.<br />Plus developing a technology to simultaneous charge two or more hydrogen vehicles.<br /> For home automation, the ministry will encourage the development of artificial intelligence for the home... to control almost everything from the gas to the lights.<br />They also plan to focus on power-efficient semiconductors as well as transparent display panels. <br />
