In the light of the passing of Balakong assemblyperson Eddie Ng in a car accident this morning, Selangor Menteri Besar Amiruddin Shari has called for all groups to show respect for the deceased.<br /><br />He expressed his shock at the news and urged for the public to respect the family and friends of the deceased and allow them time and space to grieve.<br /><br />Controversy erupted this morning when Seputeh Umno vice-chief posted a caustic tweet about the accident, saying that now there is "one less person who slanders".
