남북, 오늘 동해선 철도연결구간 점검... "시설 전반적으로 양호"<br /><br /> Officials from the two Koreas are done with their first day of joint railway inspections.<br /> Today, they checked the rail lines north of the border along the eastern coast.<br /> The authorities looked into three train stations along the section running between Mount Kumgang and the Military Demarcation Line... and discussed how they should conduct the joint inspection.<br />Seoul's unification ministry says... the overall facilities, such as the roadbed and the railtracks, were in good shape.<br />Next Tuesday, the two sides will meeting again up North.<br />This time to check the western rail lines.<br />The move comes.... after an agreement was reached in June... to modernize railways in North Korea.... as well as those that cut across the border. <br />
