<br /> <p>After years of helping their boss to color-coordinate his ties with his outfits, student workers at South Dakota State University banded together to take it one step further.</p><p>“My entire life, I could never pick out purple, blue, green, orange, or yellow,” Ronnie Straub explained to Storyful.</p><p>His team pooled their money together to buy Straub a pair of EnChroma glasses — an optical assistive device that purports to fix color blindness.</p><p>The video uploaded to YouTube</a> on May 5 shows Straub’s touching reaction to seeing everyday items in his workplace anew.</p><p>As he explores his now colorful environment, one of his staff members can be heard exclaiming, “You are going to be able to pick out your ties now!” Credit: Ronnie Straub via Storyful</p><br />
