Former Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has denied that the RM470 million distributed among former BN component parties before GE13 came from 1MDB.<br /><br />Previously, Malaysiakini reported that at least RM470 million went to various political entities through 102 transactions, excluding individuals, between April 2012 and August 2013.<br /><br />Umno received the lion's share, at RM417.4 million or 88.8 percent of the funds. The next biggest recipients were MIC at RM20.55 million, and MCA at RM16.5 million.<br /><br />The money was distributed to various party chapters, wings and even a party-owned library.
