MCA deputy president and Ayer Hitam MP Wee Ka Siong has questioned the powers that has been extended to the Council of Eminent Persons (CEP).<br /><br />He said there were occasions where the CEP seemed to have made decisions for the government and questioned if they had the power to do so.<br /><br />The Council of Eminent Persons (CEP) was set up to advise the government on economic and financial matters and will be disbanded after Harapan's 100 days in power.
