<p>An opportunistic chipmunk saw an appealing snack in the Barnett family garden in South Lake Tahoe, California.</p><p>Unfortunately, the rodent disregarded the netting placed around the spinach and became badly tangled in it.</p><p>Luckily, while Joe Barnett spotted the distressed chipmunk while sitting out on his porch.</p><p>The video uploaded to YouTube</a> on July 22, shows Joe cutting the chipmunk free from the netting.</p><p>In the video, Joe can be heard saying to the anxious animal, “Almost there, don’t get re-tangled!” Credit: Joe Barnett via Storyful</p><br />
