South Korea's consumer sentiment fell by its largest margin in 20 months in July... amid concerns over escalating trade spats and worries over the economic downturn at home.<br /> The Bank of Korea's monthly consumer confidence index plunged four-and-a-half points in a month to 101 in July, the lowest since April last year when the country was rocked by a massive corruption scandal that brought down the previous Park Geun-hye administration.<br />The major sag in sentiment also comes on the back of the escalating trade spat between South Korea's two biggest trading partners -- the U.S. and China -- and the sluggish domestic employment market. <br />
