Officials from North Korea and Russia met in Pyongyang last week to discuss economic cooperation.<br /> Moscow's embassy in North Korea posted on its Facebook page... that a Russian delegation from RasonConTrans met with Pyongyang's senior railway official and discussed the Rajin-Khasan project.<br /> RasonConTrans is a joint venture cargo transport company established by Russia's railroad corporation and North Korea's Rajin Port in 2008.<br />The Rajin-Khasan project involves South Korea, North Korea and Russia--- Russian coal is brought by railway from Russia's Khasan to North Korea's Rajin port and then down to South Korea by cargo ship.<br />Seoul's northern economic cooperation committee has also visited Pyongyang this month to discuss this project with North Korean and Russian officials. <br />
