<p>Parts of Washington endured flash flooding on Wednesday, July 25, after storms hit swept through the District of Columbia and Maryland.</p><p>This video of a flooded street was captured by eyewitness Anne Dougherty.</p><p>Residents were warned to avoid flooded roads and told to be aware of the risk that trees could fall as a result of the wet ground, local radio station WTOP-FM reported</a>.</p><p>In separate tweets, a spokesman for DC Fire and EMS warned vehicles had overturned</a> and trees had toppled</a> as a result of the flood.
