According to Reuters, an emoluments case filed against President Donald Trump can move forward.<br />A federal judge rejected a bid by President Trump to dismiss the lawsuit, which claims he violated the US Constitution's emoluments clause.<br />The lawsuit was filed by the attorneys generals of Maryland and the District of Columbia.<br />The suit alleges that Trump violated that clause by accepting gifts from foreign and state governments through his Washington hotel while serving as president. <br />
