<p>Large waves struck</a> tourist beaches in Bali on July 25, flooding the streets of resort towns and prompting the suspension of a ferry service between Sanur and the island of Nusa Penida.</p><p>The waves, which reports said</a> reached up to 20 feet in height in some areas, hit Bali’s southern shores, including Kuta, Sanur, Legian, Gianyar and Nusa Dua.</p><p>Kuta Beach was temporarily closed on July 25 and swimming was prohibited, local media reports said</a>.</p><p>This video, shared on July 25, shows large waves hitting Lebih Beach in Gianyar, flooding nearby streets.
