This is the terrifying moment an irresponsible school bus driver rides through a flooded road putting lives of 30 children to risk. <br /><br />After a video of the incident surfaced officials swung into action and canceled the driver’s license. <br /><br />The incident occurred at a village near Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, India, on July 21. <br /><br />A bus owned by Patel Public Higher Secondary School had gone to pick up children from the neighbouring villages. It came across a bridge, which was overflowing with water, due to a flash flood in a local river. <br /><br />The driver, Ratan Nath, 34, waited for sometime and then took an alternative route which was also flooded. <br /><br />An eyewitness Ram Madhav, 25, said: There were many waiting to cross the road but didn’t dare to. The bus driver was cautioned but he chose to drive through the flooded road.<br /><br />“If the current was any stronger, the bus could have been swept away,” he added. <br /><br />District collector Rakesh Shrivatsav took serious note of the incident and ordered action against the driver. <br /><br />After a probe, Road Transport Officer Barkha Gaud revoked the driving license of Ratan Nath and withdrew the fitness certificate given to the school bus. <br /><br />Neemuch CSP Narendra Solanki said further action would be initiated against the driver and the owner of the school.
