한독 외교장관 대화…"北 비핵화 행동까지 제재조치 유지"<br /><br /> The nation's top diplomat met with her German counterpart for the first time... to launch their strategic dialogue.<br />The two discussed various global issues, but mainly it was North Korea's denuclearization.<br /> Heiko Maas said the meeting gave him a better understanding of the latest developments on the Peninsula and that his country understands the pain of a nation divided.<br />The minister promised Berlin will help with Pyongyang's denuclearization by sharing what it learned in setting up Iran's nuclear agreement. <br />But he also said that because negotiations are ongoing and the North is yet to take any concrete measures, sanctions will remain in place.<br /> Kang Kyung-hwa agreed, but added that South Korea will continue working to boost exchanges with the North. <br />She also said that while North Korea has and is dismantling key test sites for its nuclear and missile programs, verification must take place. <br />
