여야, 오늘 본회의…대법관 후보자 인준안 처리<br /><br /> The National Assembly held its final plenary session of the July extraordinary session and approved President Moon's three picks for the Supreme Court.<br /> They are the head of the Supreme Court Library of Korea, Noh Jeong-hee..., the chief justice of a district court in Jeju, Lee Dong-won..., and Kim Seon-soo..., a former leader of a progressive lawyers' association.<br />The approval of the latter, however, was slammed by opposition parties who objected to his ideological orientation... and an alleged ethical lapse.<br />But the motion was passed as the minor liberal opposition parties largely did not oppose the nomination.<br /> During the session, lawmakers also appointed Lee Chan-yeol... from the Bareunmirae Party as the chairs of Parliament's education committee... and An Min-suk... from the ruling bloc to lead the assembly's culture, sports and tourism committee.<br />All 18 of the legislature's standing committees now have their leaders. <br />
