The UK is legalizing medicinal cannabis from the autumn.<br /> The announcement was made by Home Secretary Sajid Javid on Thursday after the government gave the green light to relax laws governing the substance.<br />Cannabis had been classified as a drug with no therapeutic value, but after a review, drug advisors and medical officials concluded that it does have benefits for some conditions.<br />The change in law comes after a desperate campaign by parents of children with severe epilepsy who had been denied Cannabis oil, which is known to control seizures. <br />
