The Carr Fire “raged through several Northern California communities, killing two firefighters and destroying dozens of homes after thousands of terrified residents fled in miles-long traffic jams,” The Associated Press reported on July 27.<br /><br />Cal Fire said the fire has grown to 44,450 acres, according to Wildfire Today.<br /><br />In the video, two young women are seen evacuating their apartment in Redding on July 26 as smoke fills the skies.<br /><br />“It’s really time to get out now,” the filmer says. <br /><br />Before leaving, the filmer takes one last look at the smoke in the sky and says, “Say a prayer for Redding.
