<p>California’s deadly Carr Fire had destroyed</a> 65 buildings – including homes – and damaged 55 by July 27 as it grew to almost 45,000 acres, officials said</a>.</p><p>This video shows the destruction left in the wake of the Carr Fire as Mike Daly drove through neighborhoods in Redding, California.</p><p>More than 20,000 residents of Redding fled their homes on July 26 and July 27 to escape the Carr Fire, which has killed two people and injured three firefighters.</p><p>Evacuations were ordered</a> in Shasta County, California, on the evening of July 26.
