Scorching heat continues to grip the country despite showers in parts of South Korea. <br />Seoul's weather agency says the capital and its surrounding province of Gyeonggi-do, along with some southern areas, will see showers during the day,... but the rain will only temporarily bring down the temperature by a degree or two. <br />Most parts of the nation will still be under heatwave warnings or advisories. <br />Seoul and central regions will see the temperature peak at 35-degrees Celsius in the afternoon, while Busan and Jeju will be at 32 degrees. <br />As the summer vacation is in full swing, there is heavy traffic on most of the expressways, but it's expected to get better late in the evening. <br />But with the strong heat wave, make sure to drink plenty of water and try to avoid the sun. <br />
