Palestinian teenager Ahed Tamimi left prison on Sunday after serving eight months for slapping two Israeli soldiers near her home in the West Bank.<br /> The seventeen year-old activist was arrested in December last year,... after a video of her kicking and slapping the soldiers went viral online.<br />Since then, she has become an icon for Palestinian independence.<br />She was handed an eight month term in an Israeli prison and a fine of about 14-hundred U.S. dollars,... as part of her plea agreement.<br />Upon her release,... the seventeen year old said the resistance would continue against the Israeli occupation.<br /><br /> "I can't predict what can happen in the future and I can't talk in depth because I am under probation. Maybe in the future, Palestine will be free. I don't know what will happen in the future. I can't make decisions for the future and I hope that the occupation will leave so I don't even think of doing these things." <br />
