Former Prime Minister Najib Razak commented on the incoming Sales and Services Tax that the government is about to implement on September 1.<br /><br />He claims that without the Goods and Services Tax, some RM40 billion will be lost that needs to be compensated.<br /><br />The Goods and Services Tax was introduced during Najib's tenure as Prime Minister. It was hailed by him as the "savior of the economy".
