<p>A rare Canadian lynx was spotted in a backyard in Jericho, Vermont, on July 20. This video shows the animal in Mike Kessler’s backyard.</p><p>Kessler, a wildlife tracking expert, told WCAX</a>, “these cats are occasionally seen in the Northeast Kingdom but rarely in the Champlain Valley, so it caught him very off guard.” This was the first time he saw a Canadian lynx in his decades-long career.
