<p>Firefighters worked to contain a brush fire threatening homes in Santa Clarita, California, on July 30.</p><p>The Railroad fire prompted evacuations in the area, as the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department confirmed</a> 11 homes on Alder Drive and three homes on Trumpet Drive were affected by the blaze. An evacuation center was set up at Golden Valley High School</a>.</p><p>No civilian injuries were reported, but three firefighters were taken to hospital for minor injuries.
