<br /> <p>Hail pelted Durango, Mexico, on Tuesday, July 31, during a severe storm that Mexican authorities blamed for the crash of a passenger plane.</p><p>Aeromexico Flight 2431 crashed in a field just outside Guadalupe Victoria Airport (Durango International) with 97 passengers and 4 crew aboard, according to local officials.</p><p>A preliminary investigation said the crash was caused by “adverse weather conditions,” according to OMA Aeropuertos</a>, the administrative company that operates Durango International Airport in northwestern Mexico.</p><p>This video shows the hailstorm in Durango.
