Firefighters are still attempting to gain control of the wildfires raging across the northern part of California amid high winds and dry weather.<br />Brutal heat, dry conditions and erratic winds are making the tough job even tougher for the thousands of firefighters in California who are battling more than a dozen destructive wildfires across the state.<br />According to survivors of the deadly Carr fire near the city of Redding, the blaze was so massive that it even created its own weather system.<br /><br />
