<p>When the traffic light turned red, dancers from the Ardentia Compania de Danza leaped into the street and, in front of surprised motorists and pedestrians, performed a ballet routine for less than a minute, before the traffic light turned green.</p><p>The street performances, which began</a> in mid-July and have been delighting pedestrians and motorists alike, are part of an initiative called “the theatricality of public space”.</p><p>The featured music has ranged from ballet classics such as Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, to Michael Jackson’s Rock With You.</p><p>This video features dancers performing the Seguidilla scene from of Ludwig Minkus’s Don Quixote.
