<p>Shots were heard in the streets of Harare, Zimbabwe, as local military dispersed crowds on August 1 when anti-ZANU-PF protesters expressed their discontent at the party’s election win.</p><p>This footage shows a glimpse of the chaotic scenes in Harare. Possible shots can be heard about 30 seconds into the first video embedded here.</p><p>Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi told media that the army had been deployed to "ensure that law and order is maintained … [and] that peace and security prevails, The Zimbabwe Mail</a> reported. According to reports from Sky News</a>, at least one civilian was shot dead and army helicopters were also spotted in the skies.</p><p>ZANU-PF won two-thirds of the seats in parliament, beating rival party MDC Alliance, the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation tweeted</a>, and early results</a> indicated ZANU-PF’s Emmerson Mnangagwa was in the lead to win the presidential election.</p><p>On July 31, Zimbabwe took to the polls for the first time since the 2017 removal of Robert Mugabe, also of the ZANU-PF party.
