55 caskets of remains of presumed U.S. war dead arrive in Hawaii

The remains those dozens of soldiers, presumed to be Americans, arrived in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on Wednesday.<br />Vice President Mike Pence spoke at a ceremony to honor their return, saying it's a sign of tangible progress towards peace on the Korean Peninsula.<br /> The U.S. military believes that most of these remains are Americans, but they could also be troops from other countries that fought in the war.<br />Now U.S. forensic experts will start work to identify the remains before returning them to their families... but the identification process could take anywhere from days to decades.<br />The handover of the 55 caskets last Friday was part of the commitment Kim Jong-un made to President Trump at their June 12th summit. <br />
