<p>Protests against reckless driving in Bangladesh continued on August 2, when students assembled outside campuses in the capital of Dhaka and staged sit-ins on roads.</p><p>Protesters outside the University of Dhaka’s science lab chanted “we want justice”, in response to the latest road traffic death in which a bus ploughed into a group of college students and left two dead. Student protesters have developed a nine-point charter, according to local reports</a>, which includes capital punishment for reckless drivers.</p><p>A Facebook page called Private University Students Alliance of Bangladesh</a> collated images and videos from demonstrations, which have since spread to other cities in the country.
