Sg. Besar Umno Division Chief Jamal Md Yunos has thrown his support behind Umno candidate Lokman Noor Adam for the upcoming Sg. Kandis by-election.<br /><br />He says that Lokman will be an effective check and balance to the Pakatan Harapan-led Selangor State Government to ensure they do not spend the Selangor peoples' money "as and how they wish".<br /><br />The state seat of Sg. Kandis fell vacant after its incumbent Mat Suhaimi Shafiei succumbed to lymphoma on July 2. The polling will take place tomorrow, 4 August.
