According to Reuters, Apple hit a special stock market milestone on August 2nd.<br />During mid-day trading, Apple Inc. began the first publicly traded US company to reach $1 trillion in valuation.<br />Apple's stock has been rallying for the last two days after a positive quarterly earnings report, and a favorable forecast for the next fiscal quarter.<br />But Apple shares jumped almost 3-percent towards the end of the day, peaking at $207.39. <br />
