Paul Evans captured the moment on his dash camera while driving in Naremburn.</p><p>One Twitter user reported</a> the sighting was “mind blowing,” describing the meteor as a “fireball with an elongated tail, appearing out of thin air, moving across the skyline at a stately pace and then disappearing into nothing.”</p><p>Experts said the meteor is likely to have fallen around Cooma, south of Canberra, news.com.au reported</a>.
