Authorities in Laos have reportedly confirmed the death toll and number of missing after a dam collapse in the southern part of the country late last month..<br /> Local news outlet ABC Laos reports that, as of Saturday, at least 33 deaths have been confirmed and 98 people are still missing.<br />Authorities say the death toll may climb as most of the bodies have yet to be recovered and are still buried under neck-deep mud.<br />The hydroelectric dam was under construction by South Korea's SK Engineering and Construction Company.<br />The Korean government has sent medical teams and supplies to the site to help with the recovery efforts. <br />
