This is the moment a monitor lizard is rescued from a conveyor belt at an Airport in India.<br /><br />The security personnel spotted the lizard crawling on a stationary belt at Biju Pattnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on August 4.<br /><br />Before they could try to remove it, the lizard rushed to hide under the conveyor belt. <br /><br />The Air Traffic Control office called Snake Helpline for help and two volunteers went to the spot and gently extricated the three-year-old reptile.<br /><br />"Monitor lizards on the runway pose threat to the aeroplanes. So, we released it in a forest outside the city,” said Subhendu Mallik of Snake Helpline.
