Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah says that Malaysian aid for the victims of an earthquake in Lombok, Indonesia is on standby to be deployed to the scene of the disaster.<br /><br />A group of Malaysian officials including officials from the Home Ministry were in Lombok, Indonesia during a Magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck yesterday evening. According to Saifuddin, none of them were affected by the quake.<br /><br />The death toll is continuing to rise from the quake that has claimed almost 100 lives.
