NASCAR CEO Brian France Arrested for DWI The NASCAR chairman was booked by police for driving while intoxicated in <br />Sag Harbor, New York on Sunday night. Authorities say France was pulled over at around 7:30 p.m. after failing to stop at a stop sign. A subsequent search found that he also had oxycodone pills after police determined he was driving while "in an intoxicated condition." France was then held overnight and arraigned Monday morning before <br />being released. He currently faces charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance. France became NASCAR CEO in 2003, following his father and grandfather, who founded the organization in 1948.
