A vessel suspected of carrying banned North Korean coal may currently be docked in a South Korean port.
VOA reported on Monday that.... according to MarineTraffic,... a Belize-flagged ship, the 'Jin Long' docked at South Korea's southeastern port of Pohang on Saturday and is still believed to be at the port.
Satellite images show.... the ship had previously been docked at the Russian port of Nakhodka last week... besides a black material, believed to be North Korean coal.
And though satellite images do not clearly show whether the coal has been unloaded in South Korea..., VOA says,... there is evidence that the ship had unloaded coal somewhere.
This comes just days after a similar report involving another Belize-flagged ship, "Shining Rich".
Seoul's foreign ministry confirmed that 'Shining Rich' didn't carry any illegal goods..., especially those that violate UN Security Council resolutions.
